Bacteriostatic Water

Bacteriostatic Water (Sterile Water for Injection with 0.9% Benzyl Alcohol) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic preparation of water containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. It is the standard reconstitution diluent for lyophilized peptides and research compounds.
